V60 (02 Model) Brew Guide
The V60 produces a delicate cup, that has bright and vibrant flavours. Perfect for single cup brewing or for sharing for two. Tricky to perfect but worth the practice!

1. Fold Filter
Fold filter paper along the seams, insert into V60 brewer.

2. Stack & Heat
Place V60 brewer onto server and rinse well with hot water. Ensure filter papers are completely wet and stuck to brewer, with no folds or creases.

3. Add Grounds
Empty rinsing water, add grounds and place V60 on scales. Level grounds gently to ensure bed of coffee is flat.

4. Pour Water I
Start timer as you begin to pour 50g of water evenly over the grounds (10 seconds), ensuring all grounds are wet. Allow to bloom for 30 seconds.

5. Pour Water II
At 30 seconds, slow pour 50g of water in a slow, circular movement, starting from the inside outwards, covering all grounds. Pour takes 10–15 seconds.

6. Pour Water III
At 1 minute, continue pouring 50g increments at 30 second intervals until all of the water is added. Each pour should take 10–15 seconds.

7. Drip
Allow water to pass through entire bed of coffee. Total drip time should be 3–4 minutes.

8. Serve
When dripping stops, remove and discard used filter and serve.
